[Managing Users](https://knowledgebase.memtime.com/en/customer-portal?hsLang=en#managing-users) # How to Transfer a License ## Easily move your Memtime license to another user If you’ve been using a Memtime license and want to transfer it to someone else instead of canceling it, just follow these steps: ### Step 1: Release your license 1. Go to your [Customer Portal](https://portal.memtime.com/login) \> **User Management**. ![](https://knowledgebase.memtime.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Feb-11-2026-12-36-46-4754-PM.png?width=292&height=262&name=image-png-Feb-11-2026-12-36-46-4754-PM.png) 2. Licenses are only used by users with **User rights** (whether they are admins or not).   ### Step 2: Invite the new user 1. The person will then receive an email invitation. Once they accept it, they’ll be added to your Memtime account and start using the license. #### And that’s it!
