Memtime Requires Access to reg.exe (FSLogix)
Memtime only requires read access to certain standard Windows Registry values, such as operating system information, display settings, and device identifiers. Memtime does not make any changes to the Windows Registry.
If the "Prevent access to registry editing tools" Group Policy is enabled, the execution of reg.exe is blocked.
As a result, Memtime can no longer read this information, and you might see the following message in your Memtime logs:

Enabling access to reg.exe does not give users additional write permissions to the Registry.
Access to specific Registry keys is still controlled by Windows permissions (ACLs), User Account Control (UAC), and administrator privileges.
Required Setting
Please set the following Group Policy for the affected users or terminal servers to "Disabled" or "Not Configured":
User Configuration → Administrative Templates → System → Prevent access to registry editing tools
