Starting with version 4.5.0, Memtime introduces a new weekly view option, allowing you to switch from the daily view to a comprehensive weekly overview.
This feature enhances organization and makes it easier to plan your and review your week.
How to Enable the Weekly View
You can activate the weekly view from the menu shown in the screenshot by clicking on the “Week” option.
- The week will start on Sunday or Monday, depending on your account's regional settings.
- To adjust this setting, go to Menu > Preferences > Language & Region.
Features of the Weekly View
1. Timeline View
If you use the timeline view, the days of the week are displayed as columns, with time entries organized vertically in chronological order.
2. List View
In the list view, activities and events not assigned to a project, task, or client through a time entry are shown for each day.
3. Daily Summary
At the top of each column, you can see:
- The day of the week.
- Total time assigned to time entries vs. the total time recorded by Memtime as Captured Activities.
4. Add Time Entries
- For each day, you can add time entries using the “+” button.
- You can also use the "Click & Drag" method.
Options Available for Each Day
In the dropdown menu located to the right of each date, you can:
- Create time entries.
- Sync time entries created only for that day.
- Switch to daily view for the selected day.
- Download a report of captured activities for that day.
- Mark the day as Complete/Incomplete to track whether all time entries have been created or exported.
Options for the Entire Week
In the top-right corner of the weekly view, you’ll find buttons to apply actions to the entire week, such as:
- Download weekly reports.
- Mark the entire week as Complete/Incomplete.
- Manage rules for automatic time entry creation.
- Sync time entries for the entire week.
