Do my project and client names sync across devices?

It depends on whether you're using a third-party integration or Memtime Projects

If you're using Memtime on multiple devices (e.g. a desktop and a laptop), it's natural to wonder whether your project and client information will stay consistent. The answer depends on how you manage your data in Memtime.

If you’re using a third-party integration (like Jira, Asana, ClickUp, etc.):

Yes – your project and client names are synced directly through the integration. These names are fetched from your external tool and automatically displayed in Memtime, regardless of the device you’re on. As long as the integration is active, and you’re logged in with the same Memtime account, your data will stay in sync across all your devices.

 

This applies to both project/task names and client/company names, depending on the structure of the integration. You can learn more about our integrations here

 

If you’re using Memtime Projects:

No – project and client names you create within Memtime Projects are locally stored in your device. This means that even if you log into Memtime with the same user credentials, your entities and project data will not be available on all your devices.
