[Project Management](https://knowledgebase.memtime.com/en/integrations?hsLang=en#project-management) # How to connect to ClickUp ## You can connect Memtime to ClickUp and take your time-tracking to the next level. To ensure optimal use of the ClickUp integration with Memtime, we recommend using a **ClickUp plan that does not impose any limitations on time tracking usage**. For more information, we suggest contacting the **ClickUp support team** directly. ### The first step to connecting ClickUp to Memtime is to install it as a Connected App.   To install ClickUp as a Connected App, you can try the following: 1\. This will take you to your browser, and the Memtime marketplace website will open. You can search here for 'ClickUp' or any other Connected App you would like to try. After connecting, go back to your Connected Apps in Memtime and click on "Refresh Installed Connected Apps" to see ClickUp installed. ![Refresh Installed Connected Apps EN](https://knowledgebase.memtime.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Refresh%20Installed%20Connected%20Apps%20EN.png?width=528&height=171&name=Refresh%20Installed%20Connected%20Apps%20EN.png)   ### The next step is to authenticate ClickUp in Memtime.   1.  After you refresh your Connected Apps, a window will pop up asking you to authenticate with ClickUp. A window will open in your default browser asking you for your ClickUp credentials or, if you are already logged in, to select the workspace you want to authenticate with. ![Select Workspace](https://knowledgebase.memtime.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Select%20Workspace.png?width=525&height=267&name=Select%20Workspace.png) Memtime might also ask you for your permission to view your ClickUp tasks, and you can allow it. This step is necessary so that Memtime can import them, and export your time entries for you.   3\. After authenticating ClickUp, you can change different settings according to your preferences. You can select which task Memtime should import from ClickUp, as well as deactivate the automatic synchronization if you prefer so. ![Settings EN-1](https://knowledgebase.memtime.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Settings%20EN-1.png?width=670&height=158&name=Settings%20EN-1.png) If your projects are not currently displayed in Memtime, navigate to Project Management \> ClickUp and click the refresh button to update it. ![refresh projects universal-1](https://knowledgebase.memtime.com/hs-fs/hubfs/refresh%20projects%20universal-1.png?width=476&height=247&name=refresh%20projects%20universal-1.png) **Note:** By default, only tasks and projects assigned to you in ClickUp will be imported into Memtime. Ensure they are assigned to your user in ClickUp to view them in Memtime or adjust the import settings in your Connected Apps. The last step is to create ClickUp time entries in Memtime. 1\. Then, you can click and drag on the "Time entries" column to create a new time entry. ![Click and Drag EN](https://knowledgebase.memtime.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Click%20and%20Drag%20EN.png?width=411&height=330&name=Click%20and%20Drag%20EN.png) Whenever you create a time entry in Memtime for one of your ClickUp tasks, Memtime will automatically synchronize it with your ClickUp account. 3\.
