You can connect Memtime to ClickUp and take your time-tracking to the next level.
The first step to connecting ClickUp to Memtime is to install it as a Connected App.
To install ClickUp as a Connected App, you can try the following:
1. Open the Memtime App and click on the menu burger to select Connected Apps.
2. If you do not already see ClickUp as a Connected App, you can click on the "Find More Connected Apps" button to easily find it.
3. This will take you to your browser, and the Memtime marketplace website will open. You can search here for 'ClickUp' or any other Connected App you would like to try. Once you select ClickUp, click on the "Connect to ClickUp" button.
4. After connecting, go back to your Connected Apps in Memtime and click on "Refresh Installed Connected Apps" to see ClickUp installed.
The next step is to authenticate ClickUp in Memtime.
1. After you refresh your Connected Apps, a window will pop up asking you to authenticate with ClickUp. You can then click on "Authenticate now".
2. A window will open in your default browser asking you for your ClickUp credentials or, if you are already logged in, to select the workspace you want to authenticate with.
Memtime might also ask you for your permission to view your ClickUp tasks, and you can allow it. This step is necessary so that Memtime can import them, and export your time entries for you.
3. Go back to your Connected Apps in Memtime and click on "Refresh Installed Connected Apps" to see ClickUp authenticated.
4. After authenticating ClickUp, you can change different settings according to your preferences.
You can select which task Memtime should import from ClickUp, as well as deactivate the automatic synchronization if you prefer so.
If your projects are not currently displayed in Memtime, navigate to Project Management > ClickUp and click the refresh button to update it.
Note: By default, only tasks and projects assigned to you in ClickUp will be imported into Memtime. Ensure they are assigned to your user in ClickUp to view them in Memtime or adjust the import settings in your Connected Apps.
The last step is to create ClickUp time entries in Memtime.
1. Once all your projects and tasks have been imported, you can create time entries by opening the "Time tracking" tab.
2. Then, you can click and drag on the "Time entries" column to create a new time entry.
Whenever you create a time entry in Memtime for one of your ClickUp tasks, Memtime will automatically synchronize it with your ClickUp account.
3. Go to your ClickUp account and open the Timesheet section, where you can see that your time entry was automatically exported from Memtime.
