I cannot save my reports to Dropbox

Windows Security could be blocking Memtime from saving your reports to Dropbox

Occasionally, it might happen that when you try to save a report created in Memtime to a Dropbox folder, you receive a message like the following:

This message is most likely caused by Windows Security not allowing access to Memtime.

To fix it, open your Windows Security > Virus & threat protection application.
Once there, scroll down to find the “Ransomware Protection” section, and select the “Manage Ransomware Protection” option:

If you have Controlled Folder Access enabled, as you can see in the following screenshot, you must allow Memtime. To do this, click on “Allow an app through Controlled Folder Access”:

You will then be prompted to add an allowed app. To do so, click the button, and select “Browse all apps”.

Among your other apps, you will also find Memtime, which you just need to select.

Memtime will appear now as an allowed app, as you can see in the screenshot below:

From now on, you will be able to save the reports created from Memtime in any folder located in Dropbox.
