If your device settings change later, you can manually check them. Having Memtime automatically open when you start up your Windows device can be very useful, and make your time tracking even simpler. The first step, to check if Memtime is correctly set up to do so, is to follow this path: Memtime \> Menu \> Preferences \> General Settings ![](https://knowledgebase.memtime.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Jul-30-2024-02-20-44-5227-PM.png?width=688&height=155&name=image-png-Jul-30-2024-02-20-44-5227-PM.png) If Memtime is not set to start automatically yet, you can change the settings here and restart your device to apply the change. ### Enabling Memtime as a Startup app in Task Manager The next step is to check if Memtime is set to open with startup on your Windows device:   1\. Restart your device if you made any changes. ### Enabling Memtime as a Startup app from the system settings The next step is to check if Memtime is enabled as a Startup app in your Windows system settings: 1\.
