When installing Memtime for the first time on your device, you have the option to set it to start with the device. If your device settings change later, you can manually check them.
Having Memtime automatically open when you start up your Windows device can be very useful, and make your time tracking even simpler.
The first step, to check if Memtime is correctly set up to do so, is to follow this path:
Memtime > Menu > Preferences > General Settings
If Memtime is not set to start automatically yet, you can change the settings here and restart your device to apply the change.
Enabling Memtime as a Startup app in Task Manager
The next step is to check if Memtime is set to open with startup on your Windows device:
1. Right-click anywhere on your task bar, and select “Task Manager” to open it.
2. In the Task Manager, you can click on Startup apps on the left side-menu, and search for Memtime to check if it is already enabled, or enable it if it isn't.
3. Restart your device if you made any changes.

The next step is to check if Memtime is enabled as a Startup app in your Windows system settings:
1. Search for startup apps in your Windows search bar.
2. In your Startup apps, check if Memtime is already enabled, and enable it if not.
3. You can also click on the small hyperlink icon next to it, to ensure that the shortcut added to the startup folder is valid, and leads to the correct executable files of the application.
4. In case you enabled Memtime as a startup app from here, make sure to restart your device to apply the change.
