My Memtime isn't tracking macOS Calendar App events (Sonoma 14.0 or later)

macOS newest version Sonoma (14.0 or later) requires an extra authorization for Memtime to have access to your macOS Calendar.

If you have Sonoma version (14.0 or later) in your macOS computer, your macOS calendar will probably appear as "Denied" on Memtime once you have installed it. From 14.0 version an extra authorization is required for apps like Memtime to get access to the calendars data.

In order to enable access to such data, you have to click on Open Privacy & Security > Calendars. There, you will have to enable Memtime. Make sure you set all the options as you can see in the following screenshots:

Finally, go back to Memtime > Connected Apps > Refresh Installed Connected Apps. Mac OS Calendar App will now show up as "Authorized".

It may be necessary to restart your Memtime app before the permission changes take effect, so make sure to do so before checking to see if your activities are now being tracked.

To restart your Memtime app, simply right-click on the Memtime icon located in the upper right corner of your Menu bar. From the dropdown menu, select the option that says "Restart Memtime":

This will effectively restart your Memtime app and ensure that all the permission changes take effect.

Once you've completed these steps, reopen Memtime and check to see if your activities are now being automatically recorded for you.

That's all! From now on, you will be able to see your macOS calendar events on Memtime.
